B2B Autopilot: Tiers & Terms
For Shopify merchants who sell wholesale with Shopify's native B2B. Every approved buyer lands in the right price tier, with the right payment terms and tax setting, without manual work.
Why
On the Basic, Grow and Advanced plans, a B2B company only gets its wholesale prices if its location is in a B2B market. Shopify doesn't assign new companies to markets for you, and Shopify Flow has no action for it. Buyers who are missed see retail prices.
What it does
- Tiers: each tier is one of your B2B markets (its catalog sets the prices), plus the payment terms, "submit orders as drafts for review" setting and tax exemption that come with it.
- Rules: new company locations are matched by a company field (for example "Business type" from your company account request form), then by country, then to a default tier.
- Autopilot: each time you open the app, new locations without a tier are put in the tier your rules pick. Companies already in a tier are never moved automatically.
- Health check: see locations with no tier (they see retail prices) or in more than one, with a suggested fix.
- Bulk moves: search, tick and move many locations between tiers at once.
- Activity log: every change, by the autopilot or by you, for 90 days.
Getting started (3 steps)
- Tiers: add a tier and link it to an existing B2B market, or let the app create one. Choose its payment terms and tax setting.
- Settings: pick the company field to match on (optional), and set the countries or a default tier on each tier.
- Overview: turn on the autopilot. Use "Assign all companies without a tier now" for the companies you already have.
Prices and catalogs stay in Shopify (Settings › Markets). A new market created by the app starts as a draft: add a catalog and activate it there.
Plans
- Free: up to 10 B2B companies, with every feature.
- Starter, $12 / month: up to 100 B2B companies.
- Pro, $25 / month: unlimited companies, plus auto-repair: any location that loses its tier is put back.
Paid plans have a 14-day free trial and are billed by Shopify. Change or cancel any time on the app's Plans page. Above your plan's limit, the autopilot and moves pause until you upgrade. Nothing is deleted.
FAQ
Which Shopify plans does it work on?
Any plan with Shopify B2B: Basic, Grow and Advanced (up to 3 B2B catalogs) and Plus.
Does it approve new buyers?
No. Approving who may order stays in Shopify (Customers › Companies › Ordering not approved). Shopify Flow has a template to approve company account requests automatically. The app sets their tier, terms and tax setting.
Will it move companies I placed by hand?
No. The autopilot only acts on locations that are in none of your tier markets. You can move anyone yourself on the Move companies page.
What does "Leave unchanged" mean on a tier?
The app won't touch that setting on the location. Choose a value to apply it whenever a location joins the tier.
When are new companies assigned?
When you open the app (it checks for new companies each time), or immediately with "Assign all companies without a tier now". The app doesn't run in the background between visits.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Everything the app stored for your store is deleted. Your markets, companies and their settings in Shopify stay as they are. See the privacy policy.
