Reorder Nudge: wholesale reorder reminders
For Shopify merchants who sell wholesale with Shopify's native B2B. Your trade buyers get their usual order, ready to complete, right when they're due to reorder.
Why
- Wholesale buyers reorder on a rhythm (every 2 weeks, every month…) but they forget, or order from someone else when they run low.
- Chasing buyers by phone or email takes time, and you can't see who's late.
What it does
- Learns each buyer's rhythm: for every B2B company location, the usual gap between orders (median of the last orders). You can also set a fixed interval per location.
- Due list: who's overdue, who's due soon, their last order and usual order value.
- Ready-to-complete reorder email: one click creates a draft order with the items of their last order. Shopify applies the company's catalog prices and payment terms and emails your store's invoice with a link to review, change quantities and complete the order.
- Automatic reminders (Pro): sent a few days before the due date (you choose how many), once per order cycle, never twice.
- Pause any location, and write your own message (Pro).
Getting started
- Open Reorder Nudge. Locations with at least 2 B2B orders show their rhythm and next due date right away.
- Click Send reorder next to a company to email their usual order now.
- On Pro, open Settings, tick Send reorder emails automatically, choose how many days before the due date, and save.
Safety first: automatic emails are off until you switch them on, and they only go to buyers whose reorder came due in the last 7 days, never to buyers who stopped ordering long ago.
Plans
- Free: due list and up to 10 reorder emails a month, sent by you.
- Pro, $14.99 / month: automatic reorder emails, unlimited, with your own message.
Pro has a 14-day free trial and is billed by Shopify. Change or cancel at any time from the app.
FAQ
Who receives the email?
The company contact from that location's last order. Shopify sends it from your store, like any draft order invoice.
Which prices does the reorder use?
The company location's current B2B prices (catalog and volume pricing) and payment terms, applied by Shopify, not the prices of the old order.
What if a product isn't sold anymore?
It's left out of the reorder. If nothing from the last order can be sold, no email is sent.
When is a location "due"?
When today is within your lead time (default 3 days) of its last order date plus its rhythm. Locations with one order wait for a second order, unless you set a default interval.
What happens if I uninstall?
Our copy of the store's access token and the send log are deleted. Draft orders already created stay in your store. See the privacy policy.
