RepPay: B2B sales rep commissions
For Shopify merchants who sell wholesale with Shopify's native B2B and pay sales reps or agents a commission.
Why
- Shopify B2B has no way to say which sales rep looks after which company, or what they've earned.
- On net terms (Net 30/60), the order and the payment happen in different months. Paying commission on unpaid invoices costs you money; tracking it in a spreadsheet costs you hours.
What it does
- Sales reps: add your reps with a default commission %.
- Companies: assign each B2B company to a rep, with an optional rate just for that company. The rep is also a field on the company page in Shopify admin.
- Commissions on paid orders: each month, RepPay adds up every rep's B2B orders that were fully paid that month. Commission is on the order subtotal after discounts and returns (no shipping or tax).
- Mark as paid: record when you paid each rep for a month, with an undo.
- Statements (Pro): download the month's orders and commissions as a CSV for payroll or your accountant.
- Unassigned check: see paid B2B orders from companies that have no rep yet.
Everything is stored in your own Shopify store. RepPay has no database of its own.
Getting started
- Open RepPay and go to Sales reps. Add each rep with their commission %.
- Go to Companies. Pick a rep for each company (and a rate override if a company has a special deal), then click Save.
- Go to Commissions. Use the month buttons to see what each rep earned. Click a rep's name to see the orders. When you've paid a rep, click Mark as paid.
Plans
- Free: up to 2 active sales reps, all commission features.
- Pro, $19.99 / month: unlimited sales reps and CSV statements.
Pro has a 14-day free trial and is billed by Shopify. Change or cancel at any time from the app.
FAQ
Which orders count?
B2B orders (orders placed for a company) that are fully paid. An order counts in the month of its last successful payment, in your store's time zone, so a Net 30 order placed in March and paid in April counts in April.
What amount is the commission based on?
The order's current subtotal: line items after discounts, minus anything refunded or removed. Shipping and taxes are not included.
Can a company have its own rate?
Yes. Set a rate override on the company in the Companies tab. It replaces the rep's default rate for that company's orders.
How far back can I look?
Shopify lets apps read the last 60 days of orders, so you can see the current and previous month. Download a statement each month if you need a longer history.
What happens if I uninstall?
Shopify removes the app. Your reps and payout records are app data and are removed with it; your companies and orders are not changed. See the privacy policy.
