RepPay · Last updated: 16 October 2026
This policy explains what data the RepPay app ("the app"), published by Nudge4 ("we", "us"), handles when a merchant installs it on a Shopify store.
How the app works
The app's page runs in the merchant's browser inside Shopify admin and reads and writes data directly in the merchant's Shopify store. We do not operate a database and do not store store data, customer data or order data on our own systems.
Data the app reads from Shopify
- B2B companies (names and IDs) and the app's own fields on them (sales rep, commission rate).
- Orders placed for a company: order number, company, subtotal, currency and payment transaction dates. The app does not read customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or addresses.
- The store's currency and time zone, and the app's plan.
Data stored
Sales reps (a name entered by the merchant and a commission rate) and commission payout records (rep, month, amount, date) are stored in the merchant's own Shopify store as app data (metaobjects), and the rep and rate on each company as metafields. We store nothing else.
Service providers
- Shopify: the source of all store data and where the data is stored.
- GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.) and Cloudflare Workers (Cloudflare, Inc.): serve the app page's static files, receive Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks and check Shopify session tokens. No store data is stored by them.
Retention and deletion
- We hold no store or customer data, so
customers/data_request,customers/redactandshop/redactrequests have nothing to return or erase. They are acknowledged. - On uninstall, Shopify removes the app's data (reps and payout records) from the store.
How data is used
Only to provide the app's features. We don't sell data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties.
